What have I been missing? currently in Whisper Town – on the trip back to Nazareth between Fern & Angel those three ole boys didn’t stand much of a chance! nice touch, I’m hooked!
Love your books!
Looking forward to hearing you speak at Ladies Night meeting at my friend’s church in May. I have not read your books but am going out now to try to find some of them and plan to get The Pirate Queen as soon as it comes out. I am writing a fictional book right now and have been working on a framework for a book about my Grandparents for a couple years now. Best Wishes.
Our Patricia Hickman book club has its first meeting in July, for Painted Dresses. Pirate Queen in August! We are excited.
Dear Ms. Hickman,
My father is big fan and avid reader of your books and I was hoping you could send him an autograph to cheer him up, he just had quadruple bypass heart surgery and I know receiving an autograph from you would put a smile on his face. I have included his name and address below. Thank you very much, Kim Crissey

Dear Patricia,
I just finished reading Fallen Angels wherein you mentioned my hometown, Ardmore, OK. I was surprised to also see Dornick Hills Golf & Country Club. Did you live there? I left Ardmore in 2007 and am now in SC. I am looking foward to reading Nazareth’s Song this weekend and your other books.
I still think of those wonderful book series that Patricia wrote as well as the stand alone books. All of us readers know that it was God’s call on Patricia to become the author that she is because of the chance to bless her vast audience. I am on ‘pens and needles’ waiting for the Pirate Queen to be available in the stores!
Thank you so much and we will be praying for your husband’s health and your strength.

I started reading Nazareth’s Song yesterday and I’m loving the style and warmth of your writing. Will definitely be keeping an eye open for the rest of the Millwood Hollow serires, as well as your other works. God bless! All the way from South Africa.
Congradulations on your most recent success-The Pirate queen!! You truly glorify the Lord in your work of excellence!
Just finished “The Pirate Queen”. What an excellent book???? I always enjoy your books.
Dear Mrs. Hickman…I just finished reading The Pirate Queen…I loved this book. It was so touching….I shed quite a few tears reading this story. My youngest sister is suffering from her 3rd bout of cancer….and she has your book. At first I thought maybe she should not read it..but as I read more and more I changed my mind…YES she needs to read this book. She is going through chemo once again and is feeling so weak and tired. With Bender seeking the LORD and reading his Bible I’m hoping that my sister will do the same.
God has blessed you with such a gift. I enjoy your books very much.
Blessings,
Betty Young
Patricia,
I am reading “The Pirate Queen” now and let me just say what a gift you have of writing realistic dialogue between your characters! Awesome book!
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH IN WINNING THE FINE GIFTS, I WILL ENJOY READING THE PIRATE QUEEN AND DRINKING MY COFFEE OUT OF MUG. THANKS AGAIN DANIEL LUSCOMB
I am looking forward to reading your books. I actually just found out about you! Reading is my passion!
I just finished reading The Pirate Queen..I loved it! This was the first book I have read by you and I will now read all of your others. I think the Pirate Queen needs a sequel.. I would love to know what blossoms between Saphora and John. Best wishes to you!
I first read the Pirate Queen which I enjoyed but your series beginning with Fallen Angels I adored. I have just gotten Painted Dresses. You create beautiful word pictures. It is great to read virtuous fiction. I was glad Fern and Jeb were chaste.. May you write many more to bless our lives
Three and a half years since you taught at Greater Phila. Christian Writer’s Conference and critiqued my manuscript. Three and a half years of refusing to let go of the story, of returning to the handouts you gave us, of delving deep to pull out my own emotion so I could give it to my characters. I love the story more than ever and finally, an agent seems to love it too. Thank you.
loved, loved your millwood series!! so much
i didn’t want it to end!! however, you left me
hanging over claudia and her sweet children.
what happened to them??
I just got done reading “Earthly Vows”, after reading the whole Millwood Hollow series. The story is not finished! What about Claudia and her children? What happens to Edwin, and Nash? Why is Anna suddenly in good health when she was on death’s doorstep? There MUST be more story for the Nubeys/Welbys!
It was so nice to meet you this week at Ridgecrest during CMCA. As a UNCC grad I’m proud to have you as a former member of the staff. If you ever need anything in Cabarrus County (like race tickets or other fun stuff) please let me know! God Bless you and your fabulous work!
